Building a Chapel in Alice, TX by 2027
1.18 acres on Stadium Road, across from the new Alice Memorial Stadium. Here is what we are building and where things stand.
The Site
The chapel site is 1.18 acres at 150 Stadium Dr, Alice, TX 78332, directly across Stadium Road from the new Alice Memorial Stadium. It is flat, open land in Jim Wells County with room to build and room to grow.
This location was chosen because it is already a landmark. Every family in Alice knows Stadium Road. The stadium across the street is where this town has gathered for decades. The chapel will be that same kind of place, just quieter.
Construction Approach
The chapel will be built to serve this community for generations. The design and construction details are still being developed. What we can say is that the building will be sized for a congregation and community gatherings, accessible, and built to handle South Texas weather.
We intend to work with local contractors and tradespeople whenever possible. This is a building for Alice, and we want the people of Alice involved in putting it up.
