The land is in hand. Stadium Road Chapel has secured its building site at 150 Stadium Dr in Alice, Texas, right across the road from the new Alice Memorial Stadium.
This location was chosen for a simple reason: it is a piece of ground that people in Alice already know. Stadium Road is one of those streets that everyone in town has driven down at some point, whether heading to a Friday night game, cutting through to the highway, or just running errands.
The site is 1.18 acres of flat, open land with plenty of room to build. The property is in Jim Wells County, about 45 miles west of Corpus Christi in the heart of South Texas.
This is the first real step. There is no building yet, no construction timeline, and no opening date to announce. What we have is a place to build, and that matters.
